Students, Parents, Guardians, and Friends,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the official website of St. Edward’s Secondary School, Bukuumi.

Our institution stands as a beacon of excellence in the Kakumiro District and beyond. Founded in 1945 by the White Fathers and managed by the Brothers of Christian Instruction since 1948, our school stands proud of its heritage spanning over 80 years of dedicated service.

Our Core Philosophy: Honor et Labor

Our motto, "Honor et Labor" (Honor and Labor), reflects our deep commitment to academic excellence, moral integrity, and service to our community. We firmly believe in creating a holistic environment where every single student can thrive academically while developing strong Catholic values, robust leadership qualities, and a lifelong passion for learning.

On our campus, we ensure that students are supported by experienced and qualified educators who are entirely committed to student success and character formation.
